Title: DTC Genetic Testing Backboned Data Platform for Genomics Research
Abstract:
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) genetic testing is a rapidly growing market across the globe. Data collected by large DTC genetic testing companies, such as 23andme, now plays a critical role in genetic researches, especially in GWAS. WeGene has collected, genotyped and analyzed more than 60,000 genomes in China. Various methods, such as survey, wearable devices and camera, are used to collect phenotype and behavior data. By integrating these data, WeGene is looking to provide a security and privacy protected data platform for genomics researchers in China.
All are welcome!
